Do not hesitate to contact us if you think the Centre could be something for you — for a residency, as a venue, or as a project partner. Whatever your reason, here is how to travel.

By road

No ferries are required. Rangøya island is connected by a causeway to Averøy, which in turn links to the mainland via the Atlantic Ocean Road and to Kristiansund through the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel. The drive takes about 35 minutes from Kristiansund, 1 hour from Molde, 4 hours from Trondheim, and around 8 hours from Oslo.

By air

The closest airports are Kristiansund Airport, Kvernberget (KSU), located 37 km away, and Molde Airport, Årø (MOL), 54 km away.
Both are practical options depending on available flights: Kvernberget is mainly served by SAS, while Molde is primarily served by Norwegian. Bus connections from both airports vary, so it’s best to check current schedules. Rental cars are available at both locations.

By public transportation

Public transportation in Møre and Romsdal is coordinated by the county transit district under the common brand FRAM. The closest bus stop to Rangøya is Staurneset (Averøy) 500 meters from the Centre. There are considerably more connections to Kårvåg Atlantherhavsveien 6 km from Rangøya.

The closest railway station is Åndalsnes 110 km from Rangøya. Bus connections vary and should be checked.
